In fact that was the word of the previous two days also. Here were my boots before we left. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-190356.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-190356.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-190356.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We got off around 0800 and went through town on Calle Mayor (PRS-22-3) to the Queen&#8217;s bridge (Puente la Reina) (PRS22-6) a Romanesque bridge built in the 12th century. Remarkably non muddy. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191203.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191203.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-191203.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Entering Maneru (PRS-24) we relaxed in a nice square and the proceeded out into the mud on our way to the next town. There were lots of vineyards and olive orchards since we had just entered the Navarran wine region.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-205456.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-205456.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-205456.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-205524.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-205524.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-205524.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nEntering Cirauqui ( PRS-24) we came to a late 16th century cross and bought our lunch (another great ham and cheese) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191232.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191232.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-191232.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/><br \/\nWe are lunch outside  of the 12th\/17th century Iglesia San Ramon (PRS24-1). Here is the entrance or Mud\u00e9jar Portal. Here are some pictures and details of it. We had lunch with a peregrina named Ruby from central PA. She was stopping because she got very little sleep due to noisy 20-somethings in her dormitory. \n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191339.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191339.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-191339.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191408.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191408.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-191408.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191357.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-191357.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-191357.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On the way out of Ciraucagi we saw a map of the world in a field made by school kids.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-210353.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-210353.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-210353.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The remainder of our walk to Lorca involved grueling up and down hills though much mud and rocks. Took quite a while. However we did see an old Roman bridge and some ruins<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-210532.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-210532.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-210532.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>a modern aqueduct<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-210552.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-210552.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-210552.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And a Gothic bridge <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-210605.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20130407-210605.jpg\" alt=\"20130407-210605.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We arrived in Lorca after only 9 miles completely exhausted from all of the muddy ups and downs. We are in Bodega del Camino and have a private room with its own bath.
