It is over 1500 meters above sea level. Susan and I placed rocks on the pile, hers from Nova Scotia, mine from Casa de lid Dioses, on the pile and said the following prayer: \u201cLord, may this stone, a symbol of my efforts on the pilgrimage that I lay at the foot of the cross of the Saviour, one day weigh the balance in favor of my good deeds when the deeds of my life are judged. Let it be so.\u201d  (If this prayer is copyrighted by Emilio Est\u00e9vez, my apologies). <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-183620.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-183620.jpg\" alt=\"20131101-183620.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-183726.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-183726.jpg\" alt=\"20131101-183726.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWe then proceeded up and down across the top of the mountain and passed the highest point on the Camino, 1513 m. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-183959.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-183959.jpg\" alt=\"20131101-183959.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHere are some stunning shots as we went over. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-184117.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-184117.jpg\" alt=\"20131101-184117.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-184128.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-184128.jpg\" alt=\"20131101-184128.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nNow came the fun of going down the mountain on rocky roads. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-184245.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theboaks.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/20131101-184245.jpg\" alt=\"20131101-184245.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWe got into El Acebo after about 7 miles too exhausted to continue and checked into Mes\u00f3n El Acebo. We had a lovely dinner and are now relaxing.
